Like Scar says, there have been stories for a long time. He’s said to be the ghost of an executed gamekeeper, but some people think he came from long before that, from one of the gods the old British legends talk about. ’ She’s picking her words carefully. There are, after all, no gods but Allah, and however she’s chosen to live her life she continues to believe that.
